And So the Theory Goes...

..."There are only six degrees of separation" and that may be
the basis of what brought about the formation of Drivin' Wheel.

After my (Scott) former band "3 Legged Dog" decided to call it quits,
I enlisted the help of a few long-time friends to pull together
a band on short notice to cover gigs that I had previously booked.
We not only met that challenge, but set in motion a sequence of events
that would change my current musical direction...

As it turns out, we had all either played together long ago
or knew of another musician who had.  What culminated was an appreciation for
each others talent as well as a seemingly comfortable approach and renewed
confidence to play songs we either knew...or didn't...and just have fun
knowing that we'd get each other to the end.

Though all of us have other bands and interests,
Drivin' Wheel is a vehicle that each of us has chosen
to get into as we approach 2010.

The Band Features
(Left To Right)

    Bill Butler

Bass Guitar / Lead Vocals

Bill, aka, "Bill The Drummer" is currently in a band with Eddie and Kenny called "The Archives".  It wasn't until we actually met in person that Bill and I realized that we had once played together back in the late 80's.

Bill, formerly of "Willie And The Whitewalls" and "The Killer Flamingo's" is a versatile vocalist and musician who brings a solid groove to the band as he holds down the "other" half of the Drivin' Wheel rhythm section.

    Kenny Rayba

Lead Guitar / Lead Vocals

Kenny and I have known each other for many years and have played with Jay Frandsen in a variety of bands over the years.

Kenny's idol is Johnny Rivers and as a strong Vocalist and Lead Guitar Player he captures the unique sound of Johnny as well as other artists from that same era each and every night.

    Scott Marion

Drums / Lead Vocals

I am the Drummer in the band.  I am having a good time with these guys and hope everyone will come on out and give us a listen.

Drivin' Wheel allows me to sing some of the oldies that I have not done in a while as well as throw some good dancin' rock tunes into the mix.  I'd like to think that this band has a little bit of something for everyone, so give it a go...see you at the gig!

    Eddie Zieminski

Lead Guitar / Lead Vocals

Eddie and I had a mutual musician friend in Sam Bost, but didn't realize that we had both gigged with Sam in another band called Sidekix...at different times of course.

Eddie is a talented Lead Vocalist who is always up for a good time at the gig!  He enjoys the oldies, but plays solid and soulful lead guitar on the crunchier tunes in the Drivin' Wheel repetoire.
